Through this project, the Language Attitude team collaborated with K-12 teachers to create the Language Attitude Culture Identity Basket with strategies to meet these goals:

1. Teachers develop cultural intelligence and an ability to cultivate a classroom environment that offers space for students to gain a deeper personal understanding of their identity, language and culture. 
    

2. Students gain a deeper understanding and opportunities to develop their own cultural narrative and identity through embodied learning performance. 

 

Language Attitude  is committed to supporting all members of the classroom community, including the teacher, with learning more about and taking pride in their respective cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
